By Michelle Amodio January 29, 2014

Out of ITEXPO this week, Digium announced its Digium IP Phone Rental Program for Switchvox Cloud hosted phone service, an ideal solution for SMBs to more affordably implement UC systems within their companies.

As SMBs look to get ahead with their telecommunications systems by utilizing the most efficient and current systems, emphasis is placed on efficiency and cost-effectiveness, both of which Digium speaks to for Switchvox Cloud customers with its latest announcement.

These customers can take advantage of all of the bells and whistles of a UC system without the upfront hardware costs, including the phones. All of this is combined into one easy bill.

The Switchvox UC system includes mobile applications, real-time call control and visibility and the power to easily integrate 3rd party applications.

"Digium engineered the phones from the ground up and built the best phones for Switchvox and Asterisk. We deliver a robust, unique feature set and unprecedented customer support unmatched in the UCaaS industry," said Mark Amick, director of product management for Digium in a statement. "The new rental program allows customers to deploy a world-class phone system with a zero capital investment, substantially lowering the initial cost of entry into a new system."
