Quest Software Talks Virtualization at Interop

By

Virtualization and cloud based platforms have taken center stage as the solution of choice for most IT processes. For many the ability to access a desktop remotely and efficiently is the end goal of cloud based solutions, and could potentially allow a workforce to access desktop utilities with little more than a monitor and an internet connection. Quest software has been developing this type of software for a number of years. At this year’s Interop TMC’s CEO Rich Teharani caught up with the Quest’s Darin Bartik to discuss desktop virtualization and some of the other cloud innovations that the company has taken advantage of.

Quest Virtual Workspace manages virtual desktop environments while making the most of the connections available. It delivers applications and desktops from multiple hypervisors, Allowed for multiple desktop sessions at once and has a smooth operation increasing user adoption and experience.

The product was only recently launched but has already seen a positive response from early adopters. ““I think one of the things our customers are most excited about, is they idea that were helping them bring together various points of it management across their organization. Making it much easier to do it with one vendor and one tool,” Bartik said.

The continued march into the cloud sphere is inevitable and Quest Virtual Desktop access software will insure that it’s inexpensive and easy to use.
