Zuckerberg Immortalized in Comic Form

By

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has already been the subject of a book and an Oscar nominated movie, so in keeping with the entertainment industry’s propensity to beat a dead horse, the Zuck is now the subject of a graphic novel.

The comic will be released by Canadian based company Bluewater Productions in "giant-sized" 48-page format. It was written by freelance journalist Jerome Maida and illustrated by Sal Field.

"Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire on the planet and created something that has already had a profound impact on the world. Yet hardly anyone knows much about him. It's amazing," said Maida, "Rightly or wrongly, Mark dealt harshly with some people on his way to where he is today. As we see, he left many people feeling betrayed. I try my best to be fair here."

Maida has his work cut out for him given that Zuckerberg has been portrayed as less than a good-guy in just about every other media outlet he’s been the subject of.  Zuckerberg has famously called his depiction in The Social Network a "complete work of fiction."  Neither Zuckerberg or Facebook have not commented on the comic book.

The graphic novel is available now and interested parties can pick it up for $6.99. No word on when we’ll see the illustrated origins of Zuckerberg’s vanquished arch-nemesis, Tom from Myspace.
