Amfeltec System Logger Wins Innovative Product Award at ITEXPO East 2011

By

ITEXPO is always a showcase for products that are cutting edge in their field. This year backup provider Amfeltec was awarded our most innovative product awards for a device that offers system logging for computing systems that cannot otherwise be serviced. AMFELTEC demonstrated a truly innovative product for the embedded market. TMC was proud to honor their accomplishments with an award, and appreciate the fact they debuted their innovative solutions with ITEXPO’s attendees.

The Batteryless System Logger was designed to capture system log information from any serial port (RS232 or USB) of an embedded system in the event of a system crash or power outage and to store such information in its internal flash memory. The System Logger has no battery or accumulator inside, and it draws power directly from the serial port. The System Logger is an operating system independent solution and requires no maintenance during its operation time.

“The Batteryless System Logger is a unique product on the market,” says Alexander Feldman, Product Manager at AMFELTEC Corporation. ”The System Logger allows companies to make the fault diagnostic process significantly faster and more cost-effective, and as a result, significantly increases the reliability of computer/embedded systems. We are grateful to TMC’s editorial staff for recognizing our Batteryless System Logger with the Best-of-Show Award”.

The computing world is evolving to the point where decentralized data processing is more and more common. With cloud computing an appliance s essential to the operation of a business could be on the opposite side of the world. This device ensures that those hosting operations in remote location will always have the information critical to determining the cause of an error. The System Logger is extremely easy-to-deploy. Batteryless implementation, together with patented Smart Backup Technology, make the System Logger’s lifetime almost unlimited.
