TechZone360 is, of course, your full circle technology resource, covering every topic from the latest gadgets, to rulings on technology lawsuits, to mergers and acquisitions. But this week, we brought you plenty of news about a couple of the hottest topics on the Web: technology for graduates and the challenges and benefits of working remotely.

For some college graduates, figuring out what to do after receiving a diploma is a challenge. But luckily, there is a new option available for many who wish to extend their education just a little further: online graduate school. Now, with just a computer and an Internet connection, students who want to get advanced degrees or specialized training can take part in classes in and around their busy work schedules. Plus, online degrees are more and more prominent and no longer have the stigma they once had, making them the perfect option for many recent grads.

One piece of advice for recent grads is to be careful with social networking. There has been a recent rash of managers requesting Facebook (News - Alert) passwords from prospective employees, and this makes many nervous. But there is a free app, the Pendaflex Tag Tamer, that is available to help streamline the process of eliminating embarrassing photos and removing tags. In this way, graduates can help clean up their profiles to create a more professional self-portrait for future employers.

On the topic of working from home, there is some evidence that flexible working options create happier employees. Across Europe, many companies have come down in favor of remote working strategies, because they cut down on the cost of travel and increase worker productivity, attitudes and satisfaction. With the increasing popularity of smartphones and tablets, working remotely has become easier than ever.

Finally, working from home can be relaxing and refreshing, but there are also potential hassles – and potentially funny situations that can arise. One woman bravely told the story of how, while working at home, she was distracted by a chipmunk, leading to an adventure that seems fit for a sitcom!

Check back with TechZone 360 each week to see more news about the latest in technology – and maybe even a few more funny stories, too!
