I’ll try my best to keep my reporting of this story in good taste. It’s not easy, though, when the punch line of the story is that a naked behind ended up in an otherwise innocent tweet. But, I’ll marshal all of my journalistic integrity to try and keep it mostly clean. I’ll just throw in a pun or two about the player’s name.
Brandon Marshall, wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, was trying to be a gracious individual and connect with his fans. Instead, he gave the Twitterverse an unintentional look at the naked truth of an NFL locker room.
The star wideout had received a nice gift from the University of Central Florida, a UCF T-shirt. The gift was waiting for Marshall when he entered the locker room and, since he was excited and grateful, he decided to snap a picture of himself wearing the new threads. What was supposed to be a shot of him wearing the jersey, accidentally included a background image that was certainly not rated PG. Behind the fully-clothed Marshall, a Bear teammate is caught in the middle of changing into his uniform, and the man’s bare backside is visible in the image, which was then sent out to Marhall’s three-quarters of a million followers.

Twitter (News - Alert) mistakes are not uncommon for athletes, many of whom have hundreds of thousands of followers. Last year, Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski generated some controversy by tweeting pictures of himself with porn star Bibi Jones. Both, thankfully, were fully clothed in the images.
