While it’s snowing on the east coast, things are starting to heat up in Miami, and despite the high temps and sunny skies, we aren’t talking about the weather. The TMC (News - Alert) team has landed in South Florida for ITEXPO Miami and is ready for a fun-filled week of the latest technology developments and industry leading companies jam-packed into four days of learning and networking.

Tuesday, January 29 is the first pre-conference day with a full schedule of workshops, video interviews and Editor’s Day, where participating companies will get the chance to sit down with TMC editors and additional press to share the latest in the industry and what’s going on within the four walls of their own company.

From 9AM to 1PM, join the M2M Evolution Conference in welcoming the ILS Technology M2M Workshop where attendees will hear from industry analysts about the latest trends in the M2M market and get to experience M2M platforms first-hand. The agenda will include a hands-on workshop and an analyst roundtable led by ILS CTO John Keever and Jim Wert, GM and VP of engineering.

Following the workshop, stick around for live demonstrations of real M2M solutions driving the market today at the Battle of the Platforms presentation at 2PM. After its huge success in Austin this past September, the second Battle of the Platforms will provide an opportunity to hear and see cutting-edge platform solutions from leading companies ready to help you manage and deliver your M2M solutions.

In addition to the M2M events, there will also be a Software Defined Networking (SDN) pre-con workshop taking place on Tuesday from 12-5PM that will define the position of SDN in the market today, taking a look at the technologies and components involved in SDN and the players involved in moving SDN forward.
