Acting as a division of Champion Solutions Group since 1979, MessageOps is headquartered in North Carolina and is fully focused on its Web-based portal coined 365 Command. Unveiled only around two months ago, the platform continues to gain customers by the day and now boasts a base of over 1,200 different companies using the product that have 570,000 mailboxes constantly available at their fingertips. Even more impressive is the fact that over one million users access the robust offering each and every business day.

365 Command makes it simple and efficient for even the most technological novice individual to perform common Office 365 administrative tasks. In fact, it replaces the command line interface of Windows PowerShell with a rich, easy-to-use graphical user interface that can provide unparalleled visibility into key elements such as mailbox settings, monitoring usage and reporting.

I recently had the chance to talk with Chris Pyle, partner at MessageOps in an exclusive interview where he told me, “Since all aspects of Office 365 are in the cloud, that essentially means that all of your e-mail, calendar, SharePoint and Lync capabilities are readily accessible via a reliable Internet connection. Say for example, a systems administrator gets a call that the organization has just fired 50 people and all messages being sent to those mailboxes need to immediately be forwarded to 20 people. You can either go to each individual desk or do all these different commands through Outlook, which is extremely inefficient and cumbersome, or you can select to leverage 365 Command and go in and automatically forward the mail to the intended recipient.”

Pyle added, “Trust me what I tell you that this is completely eliminating the need to know all the facets of Powershell.”

Some of the other advantages of the 365 command dashboard include:

According to Pyle, “I have never seen anything get adopted so quickly and I have been in  this business for 20 years. It not only makes mailbox administration much easier than ever before, but also enhances communication and collaboration throughout the enterprise. The ideal target audience for this product is both IT administrators managing thousands of mailboxes and IT directors.”

Looking ahead, specifically within the next two years, he predicts that more and more big corporations will be moving companies with thousands of employees to the cloud at one time. “It’s amazing, I’ve been in this specific vertical for two years now and at first, we were trying to convince people to move their inbox to the cloud but they weren’t really listening. But now, as people begin to see the hardware that powers on-premises e-mail becoming older, they are realizing now is the time to make this crucial migration,“ Pyle concluded.

As the hours pass, adoption of Office 36 will likely surge forward for the unforeseeable future.
