Adobe (News - Alert) may be best known for its creative software like Photoshop, but that’s not even close to all it has to offer. The company just released 15 new Creative Cloud apps, which can be stored in the cloud and opened on multiple types of devices and platforms. With these new apps, creative minds can create and edit images, websites, videos and more from any devices they prefer.
The Creative Cloud suite can be accessed through a subscription, with rates around $50 per month, although current Creative Suite software owners can receive a discount. Included in the suite are the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Muse, among others.
Each of the new apps feature Behance integration. For those unfamiliar with Behance, it’s a social network with a focus on designers, allowing them to share their work with friends and colleagues, and receive feedback from them. With the Behance integration, it’s easy to share your work as soon as it’s ready to see the light of day.
Of course, the apps have all been improved for the new edition. Photoshop CC, for instance, has new designer workflow enhancements, as well as sharpening technologies to make the images clearer and details more, well, detailed. It has new photographic controls, such as Camera Shake Reduction, as well as all the tools that Photoshop users are used to using. Adobe Premier CC also features new editing tools and customizations, such as the addition of the LumetriTM Deep Colour Engine, while Adobe After Effects CC helps add visual effects more easily and impressively.
All these new tools and features can all be accessed from the Creative Cloud suite, where they’re stored in the cloud to be accessed from anywhere. This can prove very helpful to customers who are on the go or need to borrow someone’s device, or work across multiple platforms. While it may have some tools that they won’t even need to use, there’s plenty available in Adobe’s Creative Cloud for pretty much anyone who needs to edit photos, create videos, build websites, or do anything else from its many apps.
