Dell Looking to Wow with New All-in-One Computer

By

There is certainly very little doubt that the wave of the future in home computing is the tablet PC. That doesn’t mean that companies whose life blood is the more traditional desktop and laptop computers aren’t going to fight tooth and nail to stay relevant. Dell is one such company that is banking that if they update the traditional desktop, they will be able to stay in the game just a little bit longer. The company is hoping that their new all-in-one computer will generate some real interest in the old reliable home computer sector.

The Dell Inspiron One 2320 does more than just allow the user to surf the web and print off their homework. This little diddy is actually an all-in-one in the truest sense. The computer comes with a 23 inch screen that is able to stream full HD movies thanks to its 1920x1080p resolution. The SRS audio means that you will feel as though you are actually in the movie theater. Of course if gaming is more your thing than watching movies, then the Inspiron One 2320 is for you as well because it will be able to hook up to any gaming console that supports an HDMI cable.

Dell offers an i5 processor and the screen is HD multitouch and it comes equipped with 6GB of DDR3 memory. This particular machine also comes complete an HD webcam, a USB keyboard and mouse and an 8:1 media card reader. Of course, Dell has always won customers over by allowing for some customization. Some of the top of the line changes you can make to this particular model include the ability to have a wireless mouse and keyboard as well as a Blu-Ray DVD reader drive. This particular computer was also made to save the users some space (a bit of a nod to how little space the tablets take up?) by making the screen only 68mm thick. The screen can also be mounted on the wall if you purchase the special mounting kit separately. The Dell Inspiron One 2320 can be purchased on the company’s website for $949.99, a relatively affordable price considering what the unit offers.
