IntelePeer Provides SIP Trunking Service to Enabling Technologies Microsoft
Jul 15, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, IntelePeer, Inc., a provider of on-demand, cloud-based communications, announced an expansion of a partnership with Enabling Technologies to serve as the exclusive SIP trunking service provider for Microsoft Lync Unified Communications (UC) deployments.
According to a release, with this expanded partnership, IntelePeer will provide complete communications enablement services for Microsoft Lync Unified Communications on-premise installations and cloud-based hosted deployments by Enabling Technologies, a Microsoft UC Partner of the Year for the past two years.
"Since we first began working with IntelePeer, we've been impressed with how quickly and seamlessly we've been able to deploy SIP Trunking services integrated with our Microsoft UC solutions, while delivering secure, reliable high-quality connections. In fact, the quality and reliability of IntelePeer CoreCloud SIP Trunking has been so good that we are now using them for our own Lync deployment," said Enabling Technology President, Bill Vollerthum. "IntelePeer operates at business speed, turning on connections quickly, without requiring upfront costs and offering competitive rates, which is extremely attractive for our customers. As our business continues to see tremendous growth, we are committed to continuing the IntelePeer partnership and look forward to exploring new opportunities to enhance the UC experience." With the introduction of Microsoft Lync as Microsoft's next-generation UC offering, IntelePeer completed the process to earn Microsoft Lync qualification in February 2011 to ensure IntelePeer's SIP trunking services are fully interoperable with any Lync deployment.
"At IntelePeer, we've worked hard to ensure our SIP trunking services seamlessly enable the voice capabilities of Microsoft Lync unified communications," said Margaret Norton, IntelePeer General Manager, Enterprises. "Enabling Technologies' decision to depend on us as their exclusive SIP provider speaks to their trust in the quality of our services and serves as a testament to our joint success at delivering superior value to their UC customers."
