BillSoft Announces Continued Financial Growth

BillSoft (News - Alert), a national leader in the tax technology industry, announced today that for the year ending March 31, 2011 it reported an annualized growth in excess of 18 percent and a net profit of 9%. Tim Lopatofsky (News - Alert), CEO of the privately held company, said BillSoft is also projecting an acceleration of the growth rate.

Lopatofsky said, "Since we opened our doors in 1997, we've grown every year. Even through the recent recession we've been able to hold our costs down and continue to grow. We have the products and support that our customers have come to expect from BillSoft. Our associates prove each day that we have the knowledge and commitment to provide solutions to the challenges our customers face."

Lopatofsky also expects the compliance filing service to double by December of 2011, and he expects the organization as a whole to grow 20 percent by the end of this fiscal year, which eds on March 31, 2012.

BillSoft also announced three staff additions: Linda Crawford, Chief Financial Officer; Jim Johnston (News - Alert), Director of Software Engineering; and Julie Crowther, Director of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance.

Crawford previously was CFO at Nicholson Kovac, an advertising agency in Kansas City, MO.

Jim Johnston joins BillSoft as the Director of Software Engineering. Johnston brings more than 25 years of IT leadership and management experience. Johnston is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Marine Corps.

Julie brings her quality assurance and business analysis experience from INDUS Corporation. Julie has earned the Certified Software Test Engineer designation (CSTE).
