The self-proclaimed Queen of Twitter with 6.9 million followers, Lady Gaga announced to her fans, a.k.a. “little monsters,” that she has reached one billion views on the video sharing website YouTube.
“We reached 1 Billion views on youtube little monsters! If we stick together we can do anything. I dub u kings and queens of youtube! Unite!” she tweeted on Oct. 24.
Her “Alejandro” video, for example, has 94,947,172 views.
Tween heartthrob Justin Bieber is a close second to Lady Gaga’s high-ranking social media status, with 968,815,318 views on YouTube.
And in August, the 23-year-old Lady Gaga surpassed Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter. Lady Gaga’s official channel on YouTube can be found here.
