Photoshop has always been one of the best tools for designers to use. Whether it was to just touch-up your photos, create beautiful graphics, build a website with great design, reconstruct images or anything else you could think of, Photoshop was able to do it. Along with all of the power that comes with this tool, there also comes a massive learning curve. There are entire classes within top universities that just focus on how to use this program. It is safe to say that not all of us plan to go to school for this tool, so we need to figure out the best ways to use it on our own. To help you find some great tutorials, we are going to cover what we think are the top six tutorials to start out with.

The first tutorial we are going to cover is the official Adobe channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/Photoshop) for Photoshop. They provide all types of great information that covers the basics as well as some advanced techniques. You can expect these tutorials to be done in a professional and well thought out manner. Since this is Adobe's site, all information can be trusted and should prove to very useful.

This is a channel that has been up and very popular among all types of designers. There are not only over 40 videos covering the basics of Photoshop, but there are also plenty of others that go into the more advanced areas you will need to eventually learn. Since the http://www.youtube.com/user/IceflowStudios channel has been up for a while, so some of the videos are using CS5, but as most of us know a tutorial in CS5 can still be useful in other Photoshop versions. From the channel, you can also find a link to visit their official site for even more information.

Photoshop Video Tutorials
This channel offers an easy way to learn Photoshop in 60 seconds per day. They have quick and easy tutorials that won't make you try and keep up. At http://www.youtube.com/user/TutorVidCom you can find very simple and small steps that have proven successful and have become popular. Another cool aspect is that you are able to create your own video tutorials and then submit them to the website. If they get approved, they will be posted and you could make some easy money. Overall, it’s a great channel to at least check out, if you are looking for more in-depth tutorials, this might not be what you're looking for.

This channel is more than just Photoshop. While it provides a great amount information on Photoshop, it also covers a wide range of different tools, methods, and design types. It can be a great place for someone who uses a wide range of different offerings for their designs. The http://www.youtube.com/user/pfltuts channel was created specifically for design, so it isn't technically a Photoshop channel, but it can prove to be very helpful.

This channel has a lot of different design categories, from Photoshop to all of the other Adobe design products – there are tutorials for all of them. The Tutorials on the creative suite can be very useful for those of us who subscribed for everything and use multiple different programs for our design projects. While some of the videos might not be on topic, the other videos will make up for them by far. A cool part of the channel http://www.youtube.com/user/mchughm1 is that it has videos that are bunched together in playlists, so for example if you only wanted Photoshop, you could click on the play list and just watch video after video about Photoshop only without needing to go through and avoid the other videos.

This channel is specific to photography and the lessons that are posted are all to help photographers realize the full potential of Photoshop. The Youtube user, http://www.youtube.com/user/PhotoGavin/ , lives in the U.K. and started his channel back in 2008, so it is full of all types of great lessons. It has seen more and more hits over the years and continues to get more popular.
There are plenty of other YouTube channels that will be able to provide more information about Photoshop, but these six should definitely give you enough content to look at for a while.
