Digium Announces IP Phone Rental Program for Switchvox Cloud at ITEXPO

Out of ITEXPO this week, Digium announced its Digium IP Phone Rental Program for Switchvox Cloud hosted phone service, an ideal solution for SMBs to more affordably implement UC systems within their companies.

As SMBs look to get ahead with their telecommunications systems by utilizing the most efficient and current systems, emphasis is placed on efficiency and cost-effectiveness, both of which Digium speaks to for Switchvox Cloud customers with its latest announcement.

These customers can take advantage of all of the bells and whistles of a UC system without the upfront hardware costs, including the phones. All of this is combined into one easy bill.

The Switchvox UC system includes mobile applications, real-time call control and visibility and the power to easily integrate 3rd party applications. 

"Digium engineered the phones from the ground up and built the best phones for Switchvox and Asterisk. We deliver a robust, unique feature set and unprecedented customer support unmatched in the UCaaS industry," said Mark Amick, director of product management for Digium in a statement. "The new rental program allows customers to deploy a world-class phone system with a zero capital investment, substantially lowering the initial cost of entry into a new system."

Digium is currently at ITEXPO, the business technology event happening in Miami, Fla. Focused on VoIP, Unified Communications, Cloud services, phone apps, and more. The company can be found at booth 527 where attendees can talk with staff about the latest Switchvox product and see it in action through demonstrations.

The company is also a Diamond sponsor of Asterisk World, collocated with ITEXPO, this event addresses "Everything Asterisk" for business users, resellers and executive decision-makers. 

David Duffett, director, Worldwide Asterisk Community for Digium, gave a session on Wed. with updates on the Asterisk project, whats coming next along with some key information about the Community around Asterisk and the way it continues to evolve.

In addition, Brian Ferguson, Product Manager, Switchvox –Digium presented a session titled,  “Award-Winning UC for Your Business or for Your Customers,” to discuss the ways Switchvox Cloud can improve business and become a key driver for growth.

Digium is also inviting attendees to  “Magic Hour” in the Asterisk World pavilion on Wed., Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. for drinks and networking.
