“We’re driven by a singular focus — develop simple, creative solutions to the problems that stand in the way of teams working together effectively,” explained Nancy Knowlton, CEO and co-founder of Nureva, Inc. “That way, our customers can fully unlock the value of collaborative work. Everyone benefits.”
This most certainly is Nureva’s M.O.; with representatives in 35+ countries (across six continents) ready to serve customers in need of no-hassle, no-drama, no-user-manual workspace tools, Nureva’s team of hardware engineers, software and firmware developers, product managers, and user experience designers are the drivers behind the company’s growing (and technology-rich) portfolio. Organizations served range from Procter & Gamble to HubSpot, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and plenty more, each supported by Nureva’s customer-first approaches and valuable solutions on offer.
Speaking of, here’s the Nureva news that dropped just this morning:
After launching its Nureva App in beta earlier this summer, Nureva announced that the companion app is fully available to HDL310 and HDL410 audio system customers (and at no additional cost).
With the Nureva App, customers, setting up the HDL series systems is exceptionally easy. This web-based setup and configuration tool guides users through installation, necessary updates, and streamlined customization steps for use in both in-room and remote audio conferencing experiences.
Additional features and benefits include:
- Simplified Setup: As mentioned, the Nureva App avails step-by-step installation tips and tools (as well as a setup wizard), keeping things intuitive for first-time users and installers to deploy HDL310 and HDL410 systems efficiently.
- Advanced Configuration: Users can access audio settings directly through the app, including configuring the device for Microsoft Teams or Zoom calls. They can also enable Voice Amplification Mode to enhance the presenter’s voice in the room, ensuring remote participants can hear all voices clearly. Per Nureva, Voice Amplification Mode is “particularly beneficial for optimizing audio quality in larger meeting rooms, classrooms and training rooms.”
- Coverage Map/Camera Zones: The Nureva App includes a feature that generates a map of microphone pickup zones and the location of real-time sound events. Users can then create up to eight identified camera zones that can be mapped to in-room cameras that use Nureva’s sound location data to assist with tracking and switching.
- Voice Detection: The new AI-enabled, Nureva-trained algorithm enhances the sound location data for camera tracking by distinguishing human voices from distorted/excess background noise, significantly improving accuracy and ensuring clear communication.
- Nureva Console: The Nureva App is complemented by Nureva Console, the company’s cloud-based platform used for at-scale management of Nureva devices.
“The Nureva App makes it easier than ever for IT managers and integrators to quickly set up and configure HDL pro series systems in dynamic environments, especially where quick in-room adjustments are essential for optimal audio performance,” Knowlton added. “Included at no charge, it’s the latest way we’re helping our customers get great audio performance in larger meeting rooms and classrooms while optimizing the use of their resources.”
