CA Technologies Partners with ECS

Looking to promote cloud adoption in the commercial, retail, government, finance, insurance and manufacturing industries, CA Technologies has just inked a partnership with ECS Technology (China) Ltd. (ECS).

Through the partnership, ECS will become CA Technologies’ value-added distributor (VAD) in China. While providing sales and technical support for products in the region, ECS also will assist CA Technologies in the recruitment, management and support of second-tier distributors. In addition, ECS will also actively develop second-level sales channels in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu based on its successful track record and expertise by making use of its extensive distribution networks and market advantages, the company stated in a press release.

“Our cloud computing leadership helps to provides customers with the flexibility and the control they need to run their businesses more efficiently,” said Francis, vice president of China, CA Technologies in a statement. “We look forward to building a healthy and harmonious partner ecosystem in the China market. Our partnership with ECS will not only further deepen and expand our ecosystem, it also will allow both organizations to assist customers with implementing effective business solutions.”

CA Technologies and ECS will work together to build a cloud test and development environment that will help to promote cloud adoption. The companies will create a program involving internal learning and customer visits to allow more customers to experience the business agility achieved by CA Technologies solutions, using leading cloud, virtualization and automation solutions such as the CA AppLogic turnkey cloud computing platform.

Recently, TechZone360 reported that the company launched version 9.1 of its unified application, infrastructure and network performance solution, CA Application Performance Management. CA APM is powered by its unique transaction model to provide a single source-of-truth on business transaction performance. Customers are also provided with an increased understanding of how application, network and infrastructure components can affect service quality.
