Recently, Logicalis has revealed that the company has moved its Lansing, Mich., office to a new and updated facility in Okemos, Mich.
Offering high-definition videoconferencing, SMART technology interactive whiteboards, ceiling-mounted microphones and speakers, digital switching technology and a Crestron control system with multiple user-interface touch panels, Logicalis’ new Collaboration Room in the Okemos building has fully integrated digital technologies. To enhance the collaborative setting for meeting participants both in the room and in remote locations, every aspect of the room, including its size, lighting, acoustics, style of furniture and control programming were analyzed and designed.
“Logicalis has long been a fixture in the Detroit area with its U.S. headquarters located in Farmington Hills and now with the newly acquired Netarx with its two Michigan locations in both Auburn Hills and Okemos,” stated Terry Flood, president and CEO of Logicalis in a statement. “It is the strength of our people that make Logicalis successful, and we believe that remaining in the same locale for the long term demonstrates our faith in our employees, and the steadfast way that we approach business in general.”
With 25 Logicalis employees working in the new location, the company’s new facility is located at 2469 Woodlake Circle, Suite 100, in Okemos, Michigan. While no new hires are initially planned, the facility was designed with room for future growth. Today, Logicalis employs over 300 people in Michigan alone between its Farmington Hills, Auburn Hills and new Okemos facilities.
Recently, the company selected CA Technologies as its private cloud vendor. This new deal further complements Logicalis existing comprehensive cloud solution portfolio. In fact, Logicalis customers can make use of CA Technologies solution that helps in optimizing the resource and reduce costs through dynamic orchestration and workload management to automate the entire cloud service workflow and lifecycle. Logicalis U.K. customers can also associate direct and indirect costs and quickly and securely provision and de-provision their own resources and services.
